Rajpal Arya, Chairman of MRC Group is a veteran in the field of transportation and logistics.

At the age of 22 he started his own company in the name of Maharashtra Road Carrier (MRC) in 1971. In that age all he had was the spirit of entrepreneurship and a dream to achieve something big in life. He adopted the best practices in the industry, understood customer needs, ensured value addition to the services rendered and led his company to great success. Under his able leadership, today the MRC Group has grown into one of the leading single window logistics service provider in the country.

Rajpal Arya founded a Charitable Organization by the name “Lakhmichand Arya Foundation”, (LAF), in the memory of his beloved father late Shri. Lakhmichandji Arya. The Charitable Organization is the medium for MRC group which firmly believes in fulfilling its moral and social obligations towards the society, to organize various social initiatives with a commitment to enlighten many lives and making a difference.

Rajpal Arya has been honoured with many accolades such as the “Life Time Achievement Award” by IIMM, Udhdhav Shree Award given annually to eminent personalities in Pune for their outstanding contributions to the society.

Arvind Arya – Managing Director of MRC Group is a board member in MRC Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. and MRC Transolutions Pvt. Ltd.

An alumnus of Harvard Business School and Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development, he commenced his career in MRC Group in the year 1997 as a ground staff handling loading & unloading activities. Under his stewardship, Quality has always been given prominence and his detailed process and structured approach has become the foundation for the success of MRC Group.

With his intense zeal and highly focused approach, he propelled MRC Group to become one of India’s leading Logistics Service Providers with strong network across the country. Adoption of latest technology has been the key driver in enhancing the over all customer service experience resulting in substantial  growth of the company. . 

Arvind embedded a culture of customer-focus and innovation at MRC. Now, as an innovative step ahead in Logistics, Supply Chain & Transportation Industry, MRC Express is a new initiative by MRC Group driven by the latest technology committed to Simplify Logistics and help its clients business grow.

An alumnus of Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune University, Amit is a people person who has a way of reaching out to the business  minds of his colleagues & customers. His business acumen with marketing skills and ability to connect people helps him to create a win-win situation for all stake holders. 

He was elevated to the role of Director - Sales and Operations after serving as Branch Head and Cluster Head.

With almost 15 years of work experience, Amit has executed  many roles which honed his leadership skills in a highly labour intensive and customer focused service industry.

An alumnus of NM College, Mumbai University and a qualified Chartered Accountant, Rajeev Arya has been instrumental in winning the trust of all the customers. This characteristic of him has helped the company to build long term customer relations and immensely improve  the customer life time value.

With almost 20 years of work experience, Rajeev has essayed many roles which honed his managerial, leadership and people skills. 

At MRC, he spear headed the marketing and business development function across the country and has played a pivotal role in setting up the EXIM business.

Mukesh Chandra is an accomplished professional with an impressive career spanning several decades. He holds a B.Tech (1983) and a M.Tech (1985) from Harcourt Butler Technical Institute, Kanpur. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Material Management from IIMM, Lucknow.

With over 38 years of expertise in Automobile Manufacturing, Mukesh Chandra has contributed significantly to the industry through his diverse roles at Tata Motors Ltd as Manufacturing Head, Planning Head, Quality Head, Head of New Project Planning just to name a few. Notably, he has international leadership experience through his stint in China with Foton Motors.

Mukesh also possesses rich 3PL experience in in-plant logistics and aftermarket (spare parts) warehouse solutions with proven expertise in new projects and driving process reengineering.

He is a certified Black Belt and a Lean Manufacturing leader from Japan. He is also a Tata Business Module assessor and holds ISO certifications as a Lead Assessor and Management Representative (MR).

Hemant is an astute management professional who completed his Bachelors in Hotel Administration from the country’s premier institute, Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration. He also holds a MBA in Marketing and has attended Management Development programs on Logistics Management at IIM Ahmedabad.

Having started his career with ITC Hotels Ltd in Marketing, he has worked in both International as well as domestic marketing roles. His career with MRC Logistics, spans more than 18 Years. During his tenure here at MRC, he has held various key positions such as, Head – Key Accounts, Country Head – Sales & Operations & Head – Business Process Management. Currently he has taken on the responsibility to grow the SCM division and reach the epitome.

Nandan, an alumnus of Pune University, with a Masters in Statistics (Operations Research) and his 40 years of Logistics, Transportation and Distribution experience, is a brand in himself. He also has an MBA and a Diploma in Transport Management. 

He started his career with MSRTC (People Logistics). His acute understanding of business operations and logistics helped him climb the corporate ladder to senior positions as Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director in various fields in Transportation and Logistics. 

He has mentored leaders into positions of power and prestige and delivered as Strategic Consultant to various E-commerce and 3PL companies.

As Director – Information Technology, he has put all his years of experience in bringing synergy between business and technology and is now leading the digital transformation in MRC and building customer facing digital platforms that will change the course of logistics in India by collaborating various stakeholders in the industry, optimizing cost and enhancing the overall customer service experience.

Sandeep Jagtap is a seasoned professional with 23 years of experience in supply chain management.

Sandeep has held PAN India roles in his impressive career, where he has successfully handled senior management responsibilities covering areas of Operation Excellence and Audits. He has managed versatile operations projects and set up and managed complex operations for customers like Flipkart, Amazon, Bic Cello, Mahindra & Mahindra, Fiat Chrysler, General Motor, Toyota Motors TATA Motors PCBU and Accessories Business etc.

Sandeep has participated in global training programs and visited European countries for training and development. He is certified on Standard Work Module as a Coach.

By qualification, Sandeep is an MBA in Supply Chain and Operation Management.
